Editing Labelling pots and lamps in your source

A slider marked '''POT0''' tells you nothing when you come back to a program six months
later. The editor reads short tags out of your comments and uses them to label the
simulator's controls as you type.

Tags are read from the comment part of a line, so they never collide with code. Hovering a
renamed pot still shows which one it is underneath.

<code>; #slot 5</code> works the same way on the hardware side. With
'''Filename / Toggle Position''' set to '''AUTO''', the editor reads the tag and writes to
that slot, so a program carries its own destination. With no tag it writes
<code>3.hex</code>, the slot a board with no toggles fitted reads. See
